Throughout ancient scriptures, it is emphasized that Lord Vishnu descends in various incarnations to guide devotees and vanquish evil. The divine pastimes, known as Lila, of Lord Rama are celebrated and cherished by devotees, symbolizing his teachings and virtues.

Ram Navami is celebrated with great reverence and festivity across India, especially in Ayodhya, the sacred birthplace of Lord Rama. Preceding the festival, devotees observe a nine-day fast during Chaitra Navaratri, engaging in prayer, meditation, and consuming sattvic vegetarian food. The culmination of the festival sees cities adorned in festive splendor, honoring every aspect of Lord Rama's life and teachings.
